Hello Parents

Please feel free to contact me anytime about what is going on in class. We are going to be looking at Jazz music the next couple of weeks, since April is Jazz Appreciation Month. Students in 4th and 5th grades are working with recorders. We are using classroom recorders but if your child would like to buy one, feel free, but be careful. If you buy one, it should be from a music store, physical or virtual, and not from a toy or dollar store. They can be purchased for about $5. Just a heads up, next year I want to have each student in 4th and 5th grade to have their own and we will order them at the beginning of the school year and use them throughout the entire year.
